This material work belongs to the series dedicated to the signs, traces, and imprints left by human presence. Every action produces a residue, visible or hidden, and the work transforms this idea into a physical and emotional landscape.

My practice focuses on transforming humble and recycled materials into tactile spaces of memory, where the material preserves the memory of gestures, time, and transformation. Light continually alters the perception of the work, revealing folds, shadows, burns, and textures that change throughout the day. This work is rich in material texture, ready to hang, and created using mixed media, canvas on canvas.

Contemporary Material-Based Conceptual Abstraction. This mixed-media work is part of a series exploring traces, gestures, and marks left by human presence. Every action leaves a mark—visible or hidden—and this work transforms this idea into a physical and emotional landscape. Created with salvaged cotton sheets soaked in gesso, stucco, and PVA glue, the fabric is molded directly onto a canvas, allowing folds, tension, and gravity to become an integral part of the composition. Beneath the predominantly white surface are fragments of colored paper previously painted with alcohol-based markers and then burned directly onto the damp material.

The combustion process has become unpredictable and partially uncontrollable: the wet mixture of glue and plaster has repeatedly extinguished the flames, preserving fragments of color, burned textures, and traces suspended on the surface. What remains is neither destruction nor decoration, but testimony—residues of an action captured in time. The work moves between painting and sculpture, abstraction and memory. The draping of the fabric evokes organic forms, eroded landscapes, or silent human presences, while delicate pink hues and burned black marks emerge through the work's white surface like emotional residues beneath an apparent calm.
